Picture Time!!!!!

HOLIDAY TRADITIONS!!!!!

On "Black Friday" the mansion opens and Filoli is a huge shopping center!!!!  Every room has a theme and is decked out in Christmas joy :):)  People come from all around to see the spectacular display of everything from grand Christmas trees to a cute little owl that will look great on their tree!!!  

During the month of December Filoli puts on evening events that include dancing, eating, shopping, and much more!!!!  Its an amazing place and I was glad to be part of it even for just one season :):)

We thought it would be cool to have an ice skating rink in the main courtyard... hahah!!!!

November 22-26...

This week was kind of a wash and hard to keep everything straight but I basically loved every min of it!!!!  I was lighting Christmas trees, hanging garland, creating fake ice skating rinks, climbing ladders for old people and so much more:):)  It was great and I loved it!!!!!!  I was pretty sad to leave because I had to much fun and was just starting to fit in at work but I am glad to be back with friends and family!!!!!!

This is area 2 and also my last area...  Its beautiful and you get to see pictures from when I first got there and when I left so its cool to see how its changed!!!  Some of the fall color is amazing and I LOVE it:):)

This was in the summer so its all very green!!!

In the spring this field is full of bulbs and we leave a path so people can walk through it!!!  I hear its pretty amazing!!!!

This is the old rose garden... its not just a natural perennial boarder that people can walk through... They would like to take it back to more roses but it will take lots of time to get it done...

These are the sun perennials that are used by the florists in the arrangements for the mansion!!!!

This is the compost pile that Matt takes care of and is also where we drop all the waist from the work we do!!!!

Look at the fall color... I LOVE it!!!

This is from the summer so it has more flowers and lots of green!!!
