My first day in area 4 and I think it went pretty good!!!! David Lesser (area lead and like to go by Dave) and Megan Richards (area assistant) are the two in this area and I like them both so it should be a good two weeks!!!! I was taken on a tour by Dave around the area so I was familiar with the lingo and where everything is and than I was put to work!!!!
For the rest of the day we were pulling out Rosemary plants... this was fun but also hard work :) There is a 300 foot strip of 7 year old rosmary plants and we had to take them all out... We tried a couple different things to make it as easy as possible to get them out... but ended up using an old tractor and a rope!!! I would tie the rope around and Dave would back up the tractor till it came out and than he would pull up to the next one and we would do it over and over again... We didnt finish but got really close!!!!
That was basically all I did today so I might have more to talk about tomorrow!!!!
